Making the Past More Current - Historic Renovations

The Cafe at the National Cathedral wanted to keep the flavor of the past while adding vitality. The Metropolitan in DC worked closely with historic preservation to restore as much of the original architecture as possible. In the Melon Auditorium we replaced and repaired plaster molding and gold leaf with a patina that matched the original. An eye for color and design, combined with custom finish techniques, made history again.
